About

Erskine IV & Janice Cancer/Lupus Association was founded in 2017 in honor of Erskine Boddy IV and Janice R. Johnson. Erskine IV was diagnosed with undifferentiated carcinoma in November 2011 and fought a very long race until his heavenly father called him home to glory on September 25, 2016. Janice was diagnosed with Lupus in 2012 and due to lupus complications she had to have a lung transplant in February 2015. However, during her time in recovery she became ill and her life's course had come to an end on February 25, 2017.

To honor both Erskine IV & Janice who wanted to bring about awareness concerning their conditions an association was created to further pursue their wishes. Erskine IV & Janice Cancer/Lupus Association overall mission is to provide financial assistance to family members and those battling cancer or lupus. In addition, provide scholarships to high school students who plan to study medicine in college.

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."

2 Timothy 4:7 KJV
